About

The Undergraduate Law Review at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign was founded in the fall of 2018. It is the first undergraduate-level legal journal in UIUC's history. The Review’s inaugural issue was published in the spring of 2019. Follow us on Instagram @illinoisuglr to stay up to date with the organization's activities!

The Review is comprised of two organizational bodies — the executive board and the editorial board. The executive board is tasked with logistical and organizational responsibilities that help the group function, from organizing weekly meetings to fundraising. The editorial board and staff write and edit all articles for each issue.

The Review welcomes work pertaining to the year’s theme submitted by any undergraduate student, graduate student, or faculty member who is not a member of the Review. If you are interested in submitting work, please send a your work to illinoisundergraduatelawreview@gmail.com for consideration. Check back in during August 2024 regarding fall recruitment information to join UIUC's Undergraduate Law Review.
